Power Source

There are many ways to produce power

Different ways things are powered:

  1. Various Fossil Fuels including: petroleum, coal & natural gas

  2. Solar power

  3. Hydro powered (Picture)

  4. Nuclear Power

  5. Wind Turbine (Picture)

  6. Battery or capacitor (Picture)

What is the best way to tell if something is not plugged in to a power source

  • Or what happens when the battery is run down?

    • Things won’t run

    • We use the term with a battery, “The battery is dead”

Some can’t go anytime without needing recharged

  • Some can go for quite awhile because they’ve learned to recharge on their own

All through the bible God gave ceremonies and events in the attempt to keep the knowledge of Him and what He’s done refreshed in His people’s hearts and minds.

  • Most of the time His people turned them into religious ceremonial rituals

    • They forgot the meaning behind each one

      • Their vision was not refreshed and they fell asleep

John 15:5 NAS I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.

The number one technique to stay awake is activity

What are some power drains?

Mark 4:14-20 AMP 14 The sower sows the Word.

15 The ones along the path are those who have the Word sown [in their hearts], but when they hear, Satan comes at once and [by force] takes away the message which is sown in them.

16 And in the same way the ones sown upon stony ground are those who, when they hear the Word, at once receive and accept and welcome it with joy;

17 And they have no real root in themselves, and so they endure for a little while; then when trouble or persecution arises on account of the Word, they immediately are offended (become displeased, indignant, resentful) and they stumble and fall away.

18 And the ones sown among the thorns are others who hear the Word;

19 Then the cares and anxieties of the world and distractions of the age, and the pleasure and delight and false glamour and deceitfulness of riches, and the craving and passionate desire for other things creep in and choke and suffocate the Word, and it becomes fruitless.

20 And those sown on the good (well-adapted) soil are the ones who hear the Word and receive and accept and welcome it and bear fruit — some thirty times as much as was sown, some sixty times as much, and some [even] a hundred times as much.

Faith & patience causes us not to just perform thus wasting energy

  • Isaiah 40:31 NKJV But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

We must be in contact with power producing sources to maintain charge.

  • The sun is the only self sustaining power to us

Spiritual power sources:

  1. Word

  2. Prayer

  3. Church

  4. Listening to other good messages

Isaiah 37:30 NAS you will eat this year what grows of itself, in the second year what springs from the same, and in the third year sow, reap, plant vineyards and eat their fruit.

Isaiah 37:30 BBE you will get your food this year from what comes up of itself, and in the second year from the produce of the same; and in the third year you will put in your seed, and get in the grain, and make vine-gardens, and take of their fruit.
